Patients with the flu should take a towel damped with cold water and rub it into the entire human body of the sick person, on each 30 minutes. Half an hour after the sixth rubbing the patient should make a short overlay and leave it for 30 minutes, and then stay in bed for 30 minutes more, but this time without the overlay. After this apply one more washing/ rubbing with apple cider vinegar water, lay down in bed again and cover the body with a blanket but try not to sweat anymore and stay in bed for 4 to 6 hours more. If the patient respects these rules and complies to the curing procedure he must get up healthy.

The rubbing i.e. washing with the humid towel can last 2 to 3 minutes maximum, and after each bathing the patient must be feeling warm, and let’s say that he should look like a mummy. Only his/ her face is allowed to be seen during this treatment. After the third or the fourth bathing the patients should be feeling as if he/ she is in a sauna, sweating a lot. People with weak heart can’t take this curing procedure, they must avoid it.

The linden and Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) tea are also recommended during the curing treatment of the flu, and remember that the tea must be drunk very hot first-until the patient starts sweating, and then tepid. After this the patient can also drink sage tea, orange juice and hot lemon water.


People who eat beet salads almost never get the flu. In order for all the people avoid this disease, especially in the winter season, they should take 1 spoon of the seabuckthorn Hippophae rhamnoides extract for 3 weeks, in September and in March. This is most certainly the best prevention against the flu.
