Ginger Muffins

Ginger Pie/Muffins 1
In order to prepare such a pie you need the following things:

-For the batter:

400 g (14 oz )of flour,
250 g (  9 oz ) of butter,
200 grams (7 oz )of brown sugar,
100 g (3.5 oz )of honey,
1 egg,
2 spoons of grinded ginger,
2 spoons of grinded cinnamon,
1 spoon of baking soda,
half a spoon of grinded clove and
half a spoon of salt.

-For the glaze you will need
1 white part of an egg,
1 spoon of lemon juice,
Sugar powder added depending on the glaze thickness.

First of all take a vessel and stir the melted butter with sugar, then add one egg and honey and mix them along. Then add the flour and the next ingredients: the ginger, cinnamon, clove, sodium and salt. Knead the batter and add the flour as well if you want.  Then the batter should be divided in 2 pieces and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Then take the batter out and then twirl it and thanks to the griddle shape the cookies in a form according to your wishes. Then bake it in warm oven at 300ºC ( 572.00ºF) for around 10 minutes. The cookies can be decorated with a glaze made of mixed white part of an egg, lemon juice and sugar powder. Serve them cold or hot with tea and home-made marmalade.
