For the treatment of the liver and the gallbladder the following plants are useful:

apple: taking a fresh apple helps to regulate the liver function. Also, it is considered as the basic daily food that cleanses the entire body;
celery: the celery is extremely beneficial for the liver. That is why people who have liver problems are advised to take it every day;
asparagus: the seeds of this plant have a great effect on the liver and the kidney, but also help in secretion of juice in the gallbladder;


st. John’s wort: this herb in general strengthens the body. It is advisable to use tea from this herb before taking meals in order to improve the work of the liver and the gallbladder in secreting juices;
dandelion: eat the small leaves that occur on the plant (growing in spring), which stimulate the liver function. Also, the juices of the plant can be taken;
rosemary: to improve the work of liver function drink rosemary tea;
licorice (licorice root) : in ancient times the Chinese used licorice as a remedy for inflammation or infection of the liver. A group of Asian experts said that the licorice improves the performance of liver function;
mint (mentha): the tea is prepared from fresh mint leaves. Also add a bit of cinnamon tea and use it as a remedy for inflammation or swelling of the liver. The liver is located on the right side, just behind the lowest (last) rib;

burdock: the leaves of this plant are real salve for treating an inflammation and other health problems with your liver. Use it as a compress combined with mint and cinnamon cream, and add a castor oil.
