Health Problems of Women in Menopause


For the treatment of health problems of women in the menopause a useful plant is fenugreek. The fenugreek seeds contain a chemical substance diosgenin, which has a similar effect as the hormone estrogen. That is why the women are advised to take fenugreek during this period, because it is a natural replacement for a hormone that is missing. In a cup of boiling water put two teaspoons of powdered or grounded fenugreek seeds and leave it on the heat for ten minutes. Drink one cup, three times a day. Also, it is advisable to eat the seeds of fenugreek.

Monthly  Bleeding (Menstruation)


For a very strong menstrual bleeding and afflictions in the morning, each morning before meal women should drink a cup of tea made of the following well mixed curing herbs: 25 grams Arnica montana(Arnicae flos), 50 grams Valerian (Valeriana officinalis), 25 grams Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica), 25 grams Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), 25 grams yarrow Achillea millefolium and 25 grams of sage Salvia officinalis. A small but full spoon with the tea mixture overflow with a quarter litre of water and leave it like that for 3 minutes. The tea should be drunk even when the bleeding gets normal.
